Solid breakfast restaurant. Sat quickly, clean place, coffee hot and good, food came out quickly and was delicious. The corn beef hash was the best I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot of corny cash in my past…piled high, not greasy, very flavorful. Spinach and cheese omelette, perfect, very fresh, cooked perfectly. Blueberries pancake was packed with fresh blueberries. Overall, great dining experience.

Celebrating their 100th year, we stopped here for lunch. It was bitterly cold outside but warm and friendly inside. Sidney, our server was prompt and friendly. The food was good diner food and good old time
The best breakfast in town by far. You may have to wait a minute, but it’s worth the wait. Get there early. Burgers are fabulous, I dream of the mushrooms swiss burger! Food comes out quick. Staff is super friendly.
Henry’s Diner is a great spot if you’re in the Burlington area, especially if you’re staying downtown. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with very friendly staff that made the experience enjoyable. My waitress, Kaitlyn, was outstanding—personable, kind, and very attentive throughout the meal. She truly helped make the visit feel relaxed and well taken care of. The food was good, and it was easy to see why Henry’s has such a solid reputation. People started coming in quickly, which speaks volumes about how popular and well-loved this diner is. Overall, I would certainly recommend Henry’s Diner to anyone visiting Burlington. The convenient downtown location, friendly service, and pleasant atmosphere make it a place worth stopping by.
A really cool establishment! The food is AMAZING the service is super quick and the staff are very courteous and friendly. The diner is a lot larger than it looks. You get your money's worth. We will definitely be back!
Experienced a 100 reasons theyve been open for 100 years! In a day where decent customer service is few and far between, Henrys has maintained a level of attentiveness and hospitality in a high volume establishment that makes it worth sitting down instead of getting take out. We hopped in line on a sunday morning, notably a diners busiest time, and we were greeted and sat within 15min of arriving. We ordered coffee, hot tea, the philly omelet, french toast, and a slice of apple pie. The omlet was perfect with an actual decent anount of meat and fillings. The french toast was crisp on the outside and moist on the inside making for a perfect amount of melted butter and maple absorption. The apple pie was warm and sweet. Maybe a bit sweet for me, but decent sized and served warm with whipped cream! Our server was super kind and in the middle of handling at least 5 tables managed to check in and stay on top of each and every one. We were in and out in under an hour with full happy bellies and much less missing from our wallet than would be the case at many of the newer downtown breakfast spots.
Super cool retro style breakfast diner. Vibes were really nice, great atmosphere. Feels like eating in a time capsule. Ordered the Hungry Henry with french toast. The eggs were cooked well. Breakfast sausage links were a hit. But the french toast was the highlight for me. Definitely recommend trying it. We also had the gravy and biscuits which was great too.
I just wanna start off by saying thank you so much for being open at 6 AM. I’m from out of town but had to start work at seven and this was literally the only place I could find that was open for breakfast. So again, thank you. As far as the food, I would get the veggie hash 9 out of 10. Vegetables, potatoes and eggs were all cooked to perfection. I felt like maybe it was lacking a little extra flavor, but it definitely was still delicious and enough food to keep me full till lunch. The biscuit was also very fluffy and I enjoyed it. I had ordered my food for pick up, so I’m not sure if honey or jellies or jams are made available in the restaurant, would have been absolutely perfect with some drizzled honey and butter. Love that to go order was in a compostable container and not plastic. The food was still warm once I got back to my hotel after a 5 to 10 minute walk. All in all, enjoyed my breakfast and eternally grateful that they were open early!!!
Great diner. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's bustling inside. Chicken and waffles were great. Sausage gravy and biscuit was great. The gravy was excellent. What stole the show was the corned beef hash. It was extremely delicious. Service was great and quick. There was a wait when we got there, but it was well worth it!
